I'm still not a regular blogger despite trying! Terrible I know but unfortunately I seem to be having several technological failures; my laptop has ceased to work, I've been between phones, my camera has given up the ghost and its all just been bad bad bad. I've also been sort of doing uni work (by sort of read: I open the books, then go make a sandwich for three hours)
I dont know what it is but as soon as it comes to essay season (mid oct to beginning of dec) I instantly find one million craft projects that I want to do. Its so frustrating! I think its because its near christmas and I just want to craft things all the time. The picture in this post is of my favourite things to bake at the moment, also known as lemon meringue cupcakes, also known as This is Why I'll Never Get My MA and also This is Why We're Fat.
My second last essay is due Monday so I've decided to write it all today leaving the weekend for knitting and such things. Its 2pm and I'm on word 92... just 3408 left, not going all that well so I best get to it...
Aww technology is great when it works....but soooo frustrating when it doesn't do what you want! :(
ReplyDeleteI remember those procrastination techniques..I used to dust - or start several really long novels during revision sessions! Creativity seems to abound when there are other things to be done first!
Your cup cake looks absolutely delicious..no wonder you like to bake them..and tuck in!
I'm hoping that your plan has worked Jay so I am imagining you curled up (with a completed essay saved on a working laptop) and knitting needles clicking away.
Hope your last essay goes smoothly then you'll have plenty of time to Christmassly create!
